Emily (she/her) is a graduate student at UNO's Grace Abbott School of Social Work. She will be completing her advanced social work internship at Hope Collaborative from May to December 2025.
Emily has experience working with teens and adults of all ages who are living with a variety of mental, emotional, and physical health concerns. She enjoys using therapeutic modalities such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
Emily understands that living with mental health conditions and trauma can sometimes keep us from being our most authentic selves. She seeks to truly listen and understand the individuals she works with so she may walk alongside them on their recovery journey. Her goal is to support and empower her clients as they work towards creating a life aligned with their values. She believes that everyone deserves not just to survive, but to thrive and flourish as their true self.
Outside of work and school, Emily enjoys playing tabletop roleplaying games with her friends, practicing Reiki, and relaxing at home with her pets and partner.
Emily is offering sessions at $20 per session starting on May 7th, 2025.
