I became a therapist after witnessing pain and resilience in challenging situations. I saw how trauma can reshape our view of ourselves and the world, but also how healing is possible with the right support and guidance. I believe in this healing and hope. If you have been through something difficult, you are not defined by what you’ve been through. You can learn, grow, and heal, even from the darkest experiences. It would be an honor to walk alongside those ready to take that step.
I work primarily with teens and adults across the lifespan, specializing in complex trauma, childhood sexual abuse and neglect, system-involved families, anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions in young adulthood. Since earning my Master of Social Work from the University of Denver in 2013, I’ve supported individuals and groups in both office and school-based settings. To best meet the unique needs of each client, I draw on a range of evidence-based practices. My training and experience include Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), the Ego State approach within Attachment-Focused Trauma Therapy for Adults (AFTT-A), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I take an integrative, personalized approach to treatment, tailoring therapeutic methods to support each person’s healing and growth
